Microsoft's new tablet aims at MacBook


Microsoft introduced a new tablet: Surface Pro 3, which the company says can replace a laptop. Its purpose is to take a share of the mobile devices of Apple. The device has a thickness of only 9.1 mm , making it one of the thinnest products with a processor Intel Core ever created. Offers 12 -inch screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels ( aspect ratio 3:2 ), which provides an impressive pixel density , but the larger size of the hull weighs only 800 grams, according to Mobile Bulgaria.

During the presentation in New York, Microsoft managers often made comparisons with the MacBook Air, which gave a clear signal that the lightest Apple laptop is the major competitor of the new Surface. The device is equipped with built-in support for convenient positioning, which can be fixed at any angle.  Available docking station that provides additional connectivity options, including making of 4K video.

The new prop is working in conjunction with the new sleeve Type Cover, which can be magnetically adhered to the screen of the tablet to provide a better performance. A larger touchpad is added .

The device is combined with a new active pen technology with N-trig, which has integration with OneNote to synchronize notes with the cloud.

Pre-orders for the Surface Pro 3 start today with prices starting from $ 799 version with a processor Core i3, $ 999 for one with Core i5 and 1549 dollars for a model with Core i7. The devices will be available first in the U.S. and Canada, but by the end of August will reach 26 more markets .
